The Institute of Historically Influential maps
A visual identity for a made up institute, a made up institute that collects maps that can be quite politically charged. This is why I decided to grab the most neutral element I could find that still relates to maps, the shape of the earth. I created these landscapes by using height maps of different area's on our planet.
Marlou Beentjes and I decided that my hallway was the perfect spot to throw an exhibition / party. Marlou’s graduation work is an amazing background whilst dancing and I still had some spatial projects to display. Marlou’s work is about different perspectives and shows different patterns depending on the color of the light.
Perspectives
Our flatmates (ACTA) loved the exhibition and we teamed up with an Arts and Economy student from my hallway to organise a huge follow-up party. Now we only needed a visual identity and some more works that fitted the theme.

After the succes we decided on one more party, but the core group split up and this one sadly never happend.
Co-Oase
Co-Oase is a housing cooperative that puts social connection at its core. While developing an apartment complex is one of their ambitions, their broader mission is to build community. The visual identity needed to reflect this spirit—inviting, warm, and gezellig—while also communicating trust, clarity, and a strong organisational foundation. The design had to balance emotional resonance with structural reliability, just like the cooperative itself.
